if your hair is black, you will be unhappy when you see the dark roots in about 3 weeks! Go to the salon, , and maybe alot of hilights will make the roots less noticeable than a full color!!! Good Luck and Have Fun with Your Hair!!!!!

For black hair to go blonde is not an easy thing.

There are several levels of hair color with black being on one end and blonde being on the opposite.

You should see a professional for that type of change. When I used to work in a shop we would usually tell a person that it would take several attempts for them to go that light.

If you are going to do this yourself, realize you will need to pick a shade several shades lighter than the shade you are interested in, use a high-lift level peroxide (probably 50 or above) and you may even want to mix in a small amount of bleach. Your roots will lift faster than the rest of your hair so you will have to make sure the color is not on your roots for as long as it is on the rest of your hair. Like I said, a job for a professional.

Wow !! Going from black to blonde is not an easy thing to do !! I would suggest that you definately go to a professional or I promise you will have the ugliest shade of orange hair youve ever seen !! To bring your hair from black to blonde you have to do it in steps, you have to pre lighten and then lighten more and its just too much of a job for you to do at home so PLEASE go to a professional !!
