Does anyone know of a foundation that looks natural and not powdery when dry?

I have loreal true color match, but i feel like it covers my face too much, even when i mix it with moisturizer. I have naturally dry skin and i'm trying to cover scars from old acne. Also, it makes the hair on my face really visible......even though i barely have any. HeLP?

you should try mac. i had this problem too. my make-up would also show but then i bought this foundation and it works great! remember to put a good moisturizer before putting foundation don't mix it. and for acne scars put a heavy concealer and then put the foundation over it. thats what i do and it covers them up pretty well. =] hope it works! and if that don't work try getting those little sponges to put foundation on and put water in it and squeeze it out; and then put foundation on it, and dab it on your face.

You should try N.Y.C. cover up powder. It's called "Traslucent" and it looks like you are hardly wearing any makeup at all, but it hides things very well.

mac quick fix powder is the best in my opinion. the mac workers will find the perfect shade for you. dont use the pad it comes with buy a powder brush that way it uses less and spreads more evenly on your face.

hmm i would try mary kay tinted moisturizer and then top it off with mary kay's loose powder (apply with a sponge)

I use mary kays medium coverage foundation and the loose powder and it works great for me... its sounds like you need a foundation that works more like a moisturizer.. but if you use a powder on top of it then it'll give you the coverage you need.

If you just apply a bit of powder on top of your foundation it'll really help make your face appear more flawless. Most girls overdo this part and end up looking really funky... the secret is just to apply a little to give a matte finish. (And after that I usually apply a shimmer powder to my cheek bones.) :)

In covering old acne scars you should use a light matte mousse type. It's goes on light and fills in problem areas. Better yet, it isn't shiny!

MAC tinted moustrizer its!! great and it looks totally natural it never gets powdery and its not to thick. ive never tried anything else since i started using it cuz it works so well. i like other MAC foundation but some are to thick and it feels liek im wearing a mask. i love MAC they have the best makeup ever and its really good quality and compared to some makeup its really cheap!!
