i have before...but i am wondering what color

i have tannish skin and green/blu eyes.

right now my hair is a meduim brown but i want to spice it up.

i dont to professional i just do the box dyes...

ill do temp or permanent...

can someone give me a pretty color and the name or the maker( loreal, clairol..etc...)

What you can do depends on your current hair. Is your hair naturally what it is right now, or is it dyed to that color?

If you have color in it already, you can go to an auburn or darker brown. You cannot lighten colored hair using another box of color.

If it is naturally medium brown then you can go to a honey color, your options are open.

If your hair is colored medium brown and you want to go blonde, you will need to go to a salon to have it done.

If you're unsure, don't go permanant, especially if you've never used dyes. Reddish / auburn will bring out your eyes. I'd say head to the store with a friend and choose a semi permanent color, a RINSE, that will last 12+ shampoos. Remember drug store dye jobs look like drug store dye jobs becuase the color is entirely solid and this is exacerbated by inexperience with application. The semi perm color will not wash out entirely, but will fade over time. This will enable you to sample the color without making such a bold commitment. If you like the rinse, then you can choose later to go permanent, or back to your own color. This way, you can practice with the dye without the stakes being so high! Loreal has some nice reds / auburns. Be careful not to go too purple!

I would recommend doing some blonde hi lights. My husband also has light brown hair and blue eyes, and I did hi lights in his hair and it really spiced it up a lot. The blonde really brings out the colour of blue/green eyes, and would compliment your tannish colour skin. You can do the hi lights yourself at home if you buy a hi light kit and pull the hi lights through a cap. Make sure you check your hi lights often while dying them, and with light brown hair they usually go from orange, to yellow, to white, so don't panic and rinse off too soon. I would also recommend pulling thin hi lights through the cap as this will make it look more professional. I am not too sure of what brands/makes the hi lights kits come, but make sure its a whole kit including hi light cap, as iv tried the hi lights that you brush on before, and found it did not work as well. I suggest you use Loreal, its longer lasting well at least on my testing lol
