i made a pigs ear of my hair after dyeing it red. i hav almost black hair... bleached it with jerome russels bleaching thing %26amp; then dyed it red (Loreal - 6.66) lets just say that it went nuts %26amp; turned out redish pink with whiteish from the bottom...
i got a mobile hairdreser to sort it out... it turned out not wot i wanted... (i also think she legged it cuz she did say on the phone she'll blow dry it but she didnt)...
anyways its red(ish) but u can see brown in it too but u cant call it brown...
i cant afford a professional hairdresser afta spending a bomb on it!
i want it darker..... i'm so sick of... on one hand i want it a nice rich dark red (that i wanted) on the other im thinkin of gettin a dark brown and dyeing it %26amp; leaving it alone for years!!!...
can someone please help!
if i was to dye it a dark red will it work %26amp; can i use any dye on it from the shops?
if i was to dye it darker brown on the red hair will it turn out brown or will it go a dif color? lyk ginger!!

well, i suggest you dye it black, for now.
and next time, make sure that the two colors you want you hair arent different base colors because that will mess it up!

get a professional to do your hair, the products they use and the knowledge that they have about the science of hair will result in you having your desired look.

you had a corrective color done. there is only so much your hair can handle in one day. for corrective work i make the client sign a release saying it might take up to 6 visits to get it right. the porosity was all out of whack and color will not take evenly on unevenly porous hair.
i also charge up to $200 an hour plus product cost for corrective work.
THAT'S WHAT YOU GET FOR DOING IT YOURSELF FIRST.

Listen i know how u feel
one of my mates had a similar problem
heres how she solved it:
After eating donner kebab
go and do a great big poo and STICK ur head down the loo
and ENJOY! na na only kidding dont be angry.
U can wait till it grows out + colour will fade eventually
OR
cut it short or phone salons for advice.
listen try not to die it again yet but if cant wait then jus bleach it twice or die it a dark colour twice
listen if u decide to bleach ur hair is going to be in very bad condition.
anyway good luck and always keep a spare cap on ya!

well not sure want your color ended up as..but if it's bright red or reddish tone it down with and ash brown dye. i have reddish hair and had a it touch up once.. well the red came out looking like flame red. so i had to go back in a few days and have as ash brown wash put in. the best thing to do before change the color yourself is conditioning treatment a week before coloring. the good thing about red dyes is the pigment fades fast in most cases. hope this helps
