I dyed my hair and I have to get it out. Help!?

Hi, I'm Rebecca and I just dyed my hair. It was supposed to be red hilights atop my orange blonde hair. Well, it turned out this fire red/pink magenta-ish color! And, it wasn't highlights but ALL OVER. The brand is Loreal and I tryed their website and nothing. I'm 14 turning 15 on Saturday and I can't dye it again it'll fall out. I tried using Tide and other soaps. I washed my hair with hot water and...

It only partially came out and I have frizzy, dry hair. It's rusty copper with pink highlights.

I have hockey tickets to the game on Saturday (my Birthday) and I have to get it out. I really need it to come out. Really, so far all that won't come out is the roots at the top and the hair at the top.

Thanks!

buy loreal color zap. it takes all permanent hair dye out, and its safe, and you can re dye it again afterwards.

There is a color remover that you can purchase at a Sally's Beauty Supply.. You mix it either with water or developer.

Why don't you just tint it with a medium brown and let it grow out? That is the easiest thing to do.

Go to a Beauty College and get an advanced student just about to graduate.... They will do it very reasonable, get it even in tones, and perhaps have some nice ideas like leaving a few of the existing colors out and toning them down for high lights.... THEN get a new fresh trim or a completely different style... Good luck....

I'm sorry honey but you dyed your hair with permanent dye. That makes it...well, permanent.

There are hair colour removal kits out there (try Sally's), but what this will do is pull out the deep color and you would need to color over the whole thing again to make it uniform.

Unfortunately what you're seeking is in the salon world what's called a "corrective color." This should be done by a professional. Assuming you do not have the money for this, the alternative would be to color the whole thing darker or let it grow out.

Why don't you go grab a wash-out color in a fun shade to get you thru your b-day then ask mom/dad if they can send you to the salon to get your hair fixed up permanently.

well.. i don't know what to tell you. that really sucks. you really need to get your hands on some hair dye. dye it on friday, you'll be okay by then. pick a brownish color. or... go to a hair salon. tell your mom to get the **** over herself and help you.

good luck girl!

Ok, I had the same problem once. This is what you do. You buy a product that completely removes hair dye. I don't remember what I used but it bleached my hair a bleach blonde/ white. Then you use the hair color you want immediately afterwards.
