Hair is blonde and i hate it?

i just highlighted my hair.. my hair is a natural medium brown.. not very dark.. but you know..mediumish. i got loreal frost%26amp;design (a carmel color) i did this before and it came out fantastic. i did it again, and it came out wayyyy tooo blonde in the front. the back looks fine though, i can deal with that.

it just seems like its too face framing blonde, and it makes my natural pink skin tone contrast horribly. i cant redye it back to its original shade.. i cant do any form of dying..

is there any tricks anyone knows? or how long it takes for this stuff to start to fade? or anything!!! please help

I bet it looks very nice...i bet u r over reacting...put up a pic so we can see...i bet u look fine...enjoy a new look, you'll probably get some compliments.

you can dye it back in a week if you want to

Seems like you have quite a problem because no mater what, it's going to be un-even. If you dye it back you will still see the streaks more in the front and in the back. Which could be ok, it's up to you if you would be ok with that. Try dying it a darker colour to really black out the streaks. If thats not a good option for you, go to a salon and have them fix it for you. They could even out the streaks in the back for you, or pick out the lighter streaks and make them darker.

You can actually "lowlight" your hair in the front, the same way you highlighted it. As long as you use the semipermanent, you can do it right away. You can use a semipermanent color in a light brown, or a darker blond. just add a few streaks of this darker mixture to break up some of the blonde. Just make sure the color you put on is not an ash color.

Also, highlighted hair won't "fade" if you used bleach, which is generally used for highlighting or frostiong. It is there until it grows out or is covered up.

You could use Natural Instincts home color (can buy at any drugstore or Walmart, etc.) in two shades lighter than your natural shade on it in a couple of weeks, at least 2 weeks so you don't dry out and damage it w/ the chemicals. The reason I stated two shades lighter is because if you go w/ a shade like your natural color it will grab in the blonde and actually look darker than your natural color. I know, I tried dark brown to get my blonde streaks out and got black hair instead of dark brown and my stylist explained to me that this was what had happened. Or you could use a dark blonde to tone it down a little until you can get it cut enough to get rid of the color. But whatever you do, moisturize, conditioner, conditioner and damage cream like Cholesterol treatments you can find at beauty supply stores like Sally's. Best of luck!!

highlights dont fade they oxidize. what you can do that wont damage your hair is go back to the store where you got the frosting kit. find a medium golden blonde in a semi permanent color which says it lasts 24-28 shampoos. and apply it all over your hair.

your hair is still open from the bleach and the new color will cling to the bleached areas making them toned down to a golden blonde color and it will not upset your natural color. it will not damage your hair and it will keep it shiny and healthy
