I have just dyed my hair with Clairol Natural Instincts. I want to know how I can make it fade very

I went from light brown/blond to medium halzenut brown, and now I want my hair to go back to it's original color. I used the demi-permanent hair dye which says that it will last to about 28 shampoos. I have washed my hair with pantene pro-v, and loreal paris over 15 times and my hair still isn't looking much better. Should I just keep washing my hair over and over again for the next hour? By the way I am a male with short hair, any tips on getting my hair back to it's original colour?

You can try other stuff, but you will not get your natural hair color back.

Your hair will have to grow out.

If the color is nasty have some highlights put in, or shave it!

You can get stuff from CVS that will help get the color out, but it probably won't get it back to your natural color. I'd go get a dye kit that's close to your natural color and try that.

Use dishwashing liquid or Prell or Suave shampoo. They are stronger than the gentle shampoos that you are using and will make it fade faster. Just make sure you condition it then.

Wash your hair with Prell - it's a bad colorist's best friend. Then, try a hot oil treatment, then shampoo again with Prell.

If you want to try and wash the color out, use a clarifying shampoo. This type of shampoo is specially formulated to strip away oils and debris in hair and tends to fade dyes out very quickly. I use the Suave version, since it's inexpensive and works great, but many brands have a clarifying type, including Pantene.

This should work, but if not, you can get a dye removal kit from any drug store. However, this tends to lighten the hair quite a bit and usually has many harsh chemicals that may cause brassiness and brittle, dry hair.

As a last resort, you can always just go to a salon and they will correct it there, but that can be quite pricey. Good luck!

A bit of washing powser added to your shampoo will help it was out a bit quicker , or paul mitchells shampoo number 3.

get some anti-dandruff shampoo. it has colour-stripping qualities. wash your hair as much as you can with in the 24 hours that you dyed it in. trust me on this one I've done it before. it doesn't get all the dye out but it fades it really quickly.
